Dear Art,

This time around, it is a walk down a familiar path and there will be the comfort that comes with knowing what is to come. And yet, each child is unique and in that sense it is all going to be new and fun all over again as also the joy and surprise about things that you missed observing the first time around. And watching it all through Anushka's eyes is going to be a new experience.
And we can't wait to hear about it all.

I have known you through your short posts, a place where I knew I did have something new to read every single working day. Congrats again!........So here is a little of what I have been wanting to write to you since you announced.

The coming year is sure to bring a whole lot of changes and many beautiful, happy moments.

Anush will be a fantastic sister, there is no doubt about it. I found that not being overprotective of the second one every time the older one approached to explore helped a lot. Second ones are definitely built sturdier :)

For you, there may be many emotionally taxing days that will make you wonder if you timed it right, if your decision was right. You may feel overwhelmed, frustrated, exhausted or some combination of the above. If you ever find yourself in that position, go ahead and indulge those feelings, but only long enough to get it out of your system.

I can guarantee you, the number of times that you will be grateful for a second blessing, and the multiplied intensity of happiness quotient in the family will overpower everything else. Seeing them interact with each other in peace touches your soul like nothing else. Two is definitely merrier, no doubts about that!

Congrats again, have a happy rest of the pregnancy and a safe delivery of a beautiful, healthy baby (boy :) !
